I often think about Harry Potter and other wizards and how they go about daily life. Here is a short list of questions I wonder about wizards:
- Do wizards do laundry? If so, how?
- Wizards do a lot with alchemical ingredients and potions. Are any of these addictive? Are drugs a problem in Hogwarts?
- Do wizards tailgate Quiddich games?
- Is it only students and teachers that go to Hogwarts Quiddich games? Or do like parents go too?
- I’ve never seen, nor heard mention of, bathing regularly in the wizarding world. Do wizards clean regularly?
- Continuing wizard hygiene, what sort of products do they use? Muggle shampoo? Do they have a more effective product than deodorant? Toothpaste?
- How many wizarding schools are there? Are some more prestigious than others?
- Do they get degrees from these schools? And what does that do for you? It seems like most wizard jobs are in the wizard government. Is that all you can really do with a wizarding degree? And what are crappy wizarding jobs?
- If they get crappy wizarding jobs, what if wizards want to go to the muggle world for work? What on earth are they supposed to do? “It says here you dropped out of public school at age 11. Like, WTF?”
- Do wizards like to play video games? What about other board games? Are there games like wizard chess for other games? Wizard monopoly?
- Is Ollivander’s the only place to get wands? And can you get another one? Is there a Wal-Mart brand of wands?
- Who built wizard buildings? Wizard construction workers? Is that the crappy job crappy wizards take?
- What other kinds of music do wizards listen to? Do any listen to Lil Wayne?
- What does Dumbledore smell like?
- There was mention of contacting the muggle world for Voldemort’s attack. What about other things? Where were they in World War II? Global Warming? Are wizards that selfish?
